In a perfect world, the places that provide our medical assistance wouldn't need security measures, but sadly, aggression, violence, theft and vandalism are all too present in many of our health institutions.
Value for money is a concern for all of our customers, but perhaps none more so than those that are financed from taxation.
When whole life costs are considered, few manufacturers can match Tecton. Our products are designed to be in service for at least ten years, with many of our customers far exceeding this. Add to this our low power credentials, and you have compelling reasons for a Tecton system
Because of the difficulties with access to the premises, and the need to maintain a working system 24/7, hospital systems are often of the hybrid variety, where an existing system is upgraded over a period of time.
One such system is Barnsley Hospital (shown) where the Tecton Liberator was selected to replace an ageing system. The Liberator was able to drop straight into the existing infrastructure, including driving the existing up-the coax telemetry. This one feature alone saved the contractor an enormous amount of time in pulling through new cabling, let alone the disruption to the hospital.
Complementing the Liberators are Tecton control keyboards and display units, which in combination allow the security staff to see and control every camera.

“Having used Tecton equipment within the control room since the beginning we knew about the reliability and the fact that the products are built to last.”Neil Harvey, Operations & Compliance Officer CCTV, Nottingham City Council
